For the Hemisphere Sidetable, product images were created in the form of packshots as well as key visuals that showcase the product.
The photo studio and 3D renderings complemented each other perfectly here. The natural cork material of the sidetable is shown to its best advantage in the photo: each table is unique. We could certainly have rendered the packshots - even with a varied surface - but this makes the material look even more authentic.
Rendering offers other advantages: almost unlimited possibilities in terms of staging are possible. We could have presented the product in the Himalayas or in a rooftop bar in New York - if it had made sense - without any travel costs, equipment or room rental or set-up costs.
